Photo Session Guidelines & Important Information
Please read the following carefully to ensure a smooth, respectful, and well-organized photo session.
Important Notes

Kimono Rental
Kimono rental is not included. Please arrange this separately if required. -
Punctuality
The session starts exactly at the scheduled time.
Arrivals more than 10–20 minutes late will result in automatic cancellation without refund. -
Participant Policy
Only guests listed in the original booking may join the session.
If the number of people present does not match the booking, a fee of ¥15,000 per additional person will be charged, even if they are not included in the photos. -
Luggage Policy
Travel light. Excessive luggage disrupts the session, affects locations, and increases the risk of lost belongings. -
Kimono Preparation Time
If wearing a kimono, allow sufficient time to dress before the session begins. -
Photography Restrictions
Photography is not permitted at Kiyomizu-dera Temple or Yasaka Shrine. -
Cancellations
Cancellations made within 24 hours of the session are non-refundable. -
Weather Policy
In cases of heavy rain or strong wind, the session will be rescheduled for safety and image quality.
Before We Start

Confirmation Message
You will receive a confirmation email or message 1 day before the session.
If you do not receive confirmation, contact bokehtabi@gmail.com immediately. -
Photographer Delay Policy
The photographer will not be more than 10 minutes late without prior notice.
If you cannot reach the photographer and receive no notification, do not wait longer than 10 minutes.
We will investigate and issue a full refund if applicable. -
Meeting Point
Please arrive at the exact meeting point provided in your confirmation details. -
Location Flexibility
The session will take place within the same area, covering multiple nearby locations.
Routes may be adjusted due to crowds, lighting, weather, or on-site conditions.
If an area becomes too busy, the photographer may change locations without prior notice. -
Special Situations

Sessions involving children may not follow the full planned route.

Late arrival or slow shooting pace may result in fewer locations covered.

Posing Preferences
Please inform the photographer in advance if you have:-
Preferred poses or angles

Sides you do not want emphasized

Any poses you are uncomfortable with

Example requests:

“I prefer natural expressions.”

“Please avoid direct eye contact shots.”

“I don’t want photos from behind.”

“I’m not comfortable with public kissing poses.”

Shooting Style
Multiple photos will be taken at each spot from different angles.
Reviewing photos shot-by-shot during the session will reduce your shooting time. -
Mindset
Relax, enjoy the experience, and be yourself.
Respect & Awareness During the Session

Environmental Responsibility

Do not touch, shake, or damage cherry blossom branches.

Do not touch or handle objects at temples, shrines, or public streets. Many items are sacred or privately owned.

Public Etiquette
Popular locations require patience.
Please respect others, wait your turn, and do not rush or cut queues.
Practice Good Manners

You are expected to follow local rules and cultural practices at all times.

If you violate local regulations and are warned or stopped by authorities, you are fully responsible for the consequences.

In such cases, the photoshoot will end immediately without refund.

After the Shoot

Photo Delivery
You will receive an email or message with a link to your full photo album.
All images will receive basic adjustments before delivery. -
Delivery Timeframe
Photos are typically delivered within 1 day, and no later than 7 days. -
Photo Selection for Retouching
After receiving the album:-
Select your favorite images for retouching

The number of edited photos depends on your package

You may select your photos at any time within the selection period (approximately 60 days).

Backup Responsibility
Please back up all files promptly. Data may be permanently deleted after the retention period. -
Editing Process
Send a list of file numbers or filenames.
Editing begins after the list is received.
During peak seasons (Spring, Autumn, and national holidays), delivery of edited photos may be delayed.
